Justin Sowa

Experience

Justin is a Senior Associate in Grellas Shah’s Litigation practice, where he focuses on complex commercial litigation, including disputes involving corporate governance and breach of fiduciary duties, trade secret and IP misappropriation, breach of contract, real estate, and defamation matters. Justin represents clients in state and federal courts, as well as in arbitration, and brings particular experience advising closely held businesses and their principals in partnership and shareholder disputes.

Prior to joining Grellas Shah, Justin was a Partner at Gluck Daniel Atkinson LLP, a San Francisco litigation boutique, and previously practiced at Kirkland & Ellis LLP in New York and San Francisco. His background spans large-scale corporate restructuring disputes, trade secret claims, and commercial litigation, and he has significant experience managing complex e-discovery, cross-office teams, and trial preparation.

Justin earned his J.D., summa cum laude, from Brooklyn Law School, where he was class valedictorian, and his B.A. in Music Business from New York University, where he graduated cum laude. He is admitted to practice in California and New York.
