Prior to joining Grellas Shah, Mital practiced at Hogan & Hartson LLP in Washington, D.C., and at Kramer Levin Naftalis & Frankel LLP in New York, where she represented public and private companies in a variety of corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, securities offerings, company formations, and governance matters.
Mital has served primarily as seller counsel for nearly 50 M&A transactions and is passionate about mitigating risk for both buyers and sellers and deal structuring.
Mital’s expertise has been featured in such media as Law360; 20 Minute Leaders; HR Daily Advisor; and more. She is a member of the Entrepreneur Leadership Network.
Mital earned her J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center, where she was a Global Law Scholar, a Law Fellow in U.S. Legal Discourse, and a member of the Georgetown Journal of International Law. She holds a B.A. in International Studies and Business Management from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

- Represented the sellers in connection with the acquisition of ScribbleVet by Instinct Science. ScribbleVet is a leading AI-powered veterinary scribing platform serving thousands of veterinarians nationwide.
- Represented Edge Impulse, Inc. in connection with its acquisition by Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. Edge Impulse’s end-to-end edge AI platform serves over 170,000 developers worldwide, enabling the creation, deployment, and monitoring of AI models across a wide array of edge devices.
- Represented Saris AI in connection with its $28.8 million Series A financing, led by 8VC with participation from Audacious Ventures, Homebrew, Btech Consortium, and Service Ventures. Saris AI is a developer of agentic workflow automation solutions for banks and credit unions. The financing involved an exchangeable share structure coordinated with Canadian counsel.
- Represented Thalamus, a public benefit corporation, in connection with a strategic acquisition. The M&A transaction had a combination of cash and equity component.
- Represented Mixel, a 27-year-old semiconductor IP provider with engineering teams in the U.S., Egypt, and Vietnam, in its acquisition by Silvaco Group, Inc. (Nasdaq: SVCO), for a combination of cash and stock.
- Represented OpenPipe in its acquisition by CoreWeave, Inc. (Nasdaq: CRWV), the AI Hyperscaler™ cloud platform.
- Represented Kangaroo Biomedical, Inc., a San Francisco-based biotechnology company developing artificial-womb and reproductive health technology, in its Series Seed financing led by Draper Associates, with participation from 2b AHEAD Ventures, Immortal Dragons, Spice Capital, and VU Venture Partners.
- Represented HOSTED AI INC in its Series A financing led by Creandum, the European venture firm known for early investments in Spotify and Klarna, with additional participation from People Ventures, Repeat VC, and other existing investors.
- Lead deal counsel for Emerge Tools in connection with its acquisition by Sentry, the widely used application-monitoring and debugging platform trusted by more than 130,000 organizations, including Disney+, GitHub, and Atlassian.
