Robert O’Leary

Experience

Robert is a Senior Associate in Grellas Shah’s Litigation practice, where he focuses on complex commercial litigation, including disputes related to corporate governance and breach of fiduciary duties, trade secret and IP misappropriation, breach of contract, real estate, and defamation litigation. Robert has extensive experience representing corporate officers, directors, and shareholders in high-stakes disputes, as well as advising clients on litigation strategy, risk mitigation, and resolution.

Before joining Grellas Shah, Robert practiced at Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP and Morrison & Foerster LLP, where he represented major corporations and financial institutions in securities, derivative, and regulatory matters. He has successfully defended clients in numerous state and federal courts, appellate proceedings, and FINRA arbitrations, often serving as lead brief writer on dispositive motions and appeals.

Robert earned his J.D. with Honors from the University of Chicago Law School, where he served on the University of Chicago Law Review, and his B.A. in History, with Highest Honors, from the University of California, Berkeley. He is admitted to practice in California.
