Grellas Shah has extensive experience representing clients in binding contractual arbitration, both with domestic arbitration before entities such as the American Arbitration Association (AAA) but also international arbitrations under AAA’s International Center for Dispute Resolution or such organizations as in international arbitration before entities such as the Singapore International Arbitration Center (SIAC).  Grellas Shah’s attorneys have experience with every stage of commercial arbitrations, including through arbitral hearing and award.

Representative Engagements

  • Represented a Silicon Valley-based company offering a collaborative content creation and adaptive learning platform in an international arbitration against an Italian partner for breach of a distribution agreement, copyright infringement, trademark infringement and unfair competition.
  • Currently representing the founders of a chain of mixed martial arts gyms in arbitration against former partners for breach of fiduciary duties, breach of contract, false advertising, misappropriation of trade secrets, and violations of the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act (CFAA).
  • Represented a leading email management and information governance company in arbitration against a former customer for breach of contract for failure to pay required amounts under a master service license agreement.
